Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was first a part of Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. After suffering multiple knee injuries over the years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana made her debut as a woman in rugby league against Queensland for New South Wales. Allana's career in radio has grown since she is a regular on 2GB's Continuous Call Team, a top-rated show. Allana is a teacher with a complete qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson is the only Australian to represent Australia in rugby sevens and rugby league, as well as touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' rugby superstar and a fourth-time tear in the ACL has ended her football career. Ferguson, 25, had torn her ACL in the same place at ages age 15-17, and then 20. After the fourth tear she knew it was the right time to end her career. Ferguson played the role of JILLAROOS team's playmaker. She had to resign because of her fourth ACL left injury. After suffering the injury in training back in November, Ferguson was an icon of women's rugby league for many seasons, confirmed the news this week in The Courier Mail.
