Morgan starred in a Safe Sex for Men and Women educational video that focused on AIDS Education and Prevention. A portion of the profits was donated toward the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the chief fundraiser for other projects and also gave testimony at a special Congressional panel about AIDS awareness. Morgan is member of the board of Governors of APLA and Board of Directors of Amfar. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his place in AIDS activities. And she co-hosted an AIDS Awareness Special alongside news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her twice about AIDS on Nightline. Morgan was nominated for an Emmy for the special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. In spring, she co-starred alongside Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer began by Murder At The PTA Luncheon. Productions like Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Her next film took her to Luxembourg in which she appeared as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also on the set. Morgan also appeared in the psycho thriller made by USA Network. The film received one of the highest ratings ever.
